A pseudoscience blog called “Climate Audit” is currently in the lead to win a Best Science Blog award because influential conservative sites are asking their readers to vote for it whether they read it or not. It’s a denialist blog that argues humans have no responsibility for global warming and promotes political ideas as “science.”
You can do your part to offset this tampering by voting for Bad Astronomy in the Weblog Awards Best Science Blog Contest. You can vote once a day, and are encouraged to exercise that option.

First, the voting ends today, so ignore that “vote early and often” comment.
Second, my apologies; I was thinking that Bad Astronomy was over in the O*W*C’s blogroll, and that most of our readers had thus had the opportunity to check out the site. I don’t want to do the very thing I’m criticizing and encourage people who don’t read a blog to vote for it anyway. If you read the site (I hope you do; it’s fun), please vote for it. If you don’t, just pretend this entry is an artifact from some other space-time continuum.

“Denialist”? All I have to say to that is “[plonk]”.
Given your blogroll, you can color me unsurprised.
Humans probably aren’t entirely to blame for the current warming trend, but claiming that we have no impact is, shall we say, disingenuous.
(Dear me, I haven’t heard “plonk” in ages. Now I’m feeling all retro.)
Who done called De Nihilist? I’se here.
