Scott Adams’ blog entry today talks about a recent study which “discovered” that smart people have less sex than dumb ones. Then he asks this question:

This leads me to my question of the day. Would you be willing to give up 10 points of IQ for a dramatic and permanent increase in your sex life (with other humans)?

One of his commenters left a response whose first sentence just cracked me the hell up, and I want to make sure it’s immortalized somewhere:

This is like Blowjobs for Algernon. I’d probably enjoy the extra sex and never notice I was dumber (because I’d be too dumb to notice), but the 10-points-smarter me wouldn’t agree to the swap, because he’s smart enough to know better.
