I like the fact that at some point Burger King realized that its giant plastic-headed mascot was creepy as hell and instead of switching to something less horrifying decided to just run with it.
Last December they launched a new men’s fragrance which featured “a hint of flame-broiled meat,” and followed it up with a promotional Web site. (Go there, and click. Click a few more times. See?)
Now they’re promoting their Star Trek movie tie-in glasses with a series of ads demonstrating the appropriate way to fend off a Burger Klingon intent on stealing your stuff.
The rest are here.
Now just try and get to sleep tonight.
