Stick a fork in Hollywood, it is done.<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/chud.com\/articles\/articles\/14900\/1\/CC-ED-WOOD-IS-ROLLING-OVER-IN-HIS-GRAVE\/Page1.html\">They&#8217;re remaking Plan 9 from Outer Space<\/A>.<\/p>\n<p>The company behind this <del datetime=\"2008-05-29T03:06:46+00:00\">sacrilege<\/del> <del datetime=\"2008-05-29T03:06:46+00:00\">abomination<\/del> retelling is <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.darkstone-ent.net\">Darkstone Entertainment<\/A>, a production company which can be termed &#8220;low budget&#8221; only by engaging in riotous understatement.  (Their site&#8217;s press kit mentions the fact that actors work for credit only and are not compensated.)<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure if they&#8217;re trying to be hip and ironic or if they just don&#8217;t understand that the whole point of Plan 9 is its <I>inadvertent<\/I> awfulness.
