Every year on April 1 they also send out a similar newsletter featuring fake products&#8230;which are juuuust plausible enough to seem realistic.  Last year one of their hoax products was the <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.thinkgeek.com\/tshirts-apparel\/hats-ties\/9352\/\">8-bit tie<\/A>, a necktie that looked like it was rendered in a low-res video game.  A ridiculous number of people tried to order the thing, and demand was so great that ThinkGeek actually produced a real version for sale.<\/p>\n<p>This year they featured a <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.thinkgeek.com\/stuff\/41\/tauntaun.html\">TaunTaun sleeping bag<\/A>, and fanboys the world over went, &#8220;&#8230;<em>Want<\/em>.&#8221;  So they&#8217;ve just posted this on their site:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Due to an overwhelming tsunami of requests from YOU THE PEOPLE, we have decided to <em>TRY<\/em> and bring this to life. We have no clue if the suits at Lucasfilms will grant little ThinkGeek a license, nor do we know how much it would ultimately retail for.
