If you&#8217;re a fan, here are some links you might enjoy.<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/thesteampunkhome.blogspot.com\/\">The Steampunk Home<\/A> &#8211; This blog is devoted to home d\u00e9cor that combines &#8220;the scientific romanticism of the Victorians with our real present and imagined future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/etheremporium.pbwiki.com\/\">Aether Emporium<\/A> &#8211; This is a marvelous resource, which &#8220;aims to provide a onestop resource and archive for all things Steampunk.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.steampunkworkshop.com\/\">The Steampunk Workshop<\/A> &#8211; Lots of resources here, including projects, links, and lots of photographs.<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/steampunkpics.blogspot.com\/\">Steampunk Pics<\/A> &#8211; A photoblog which features both images of actual steampunk items (such as &#8220;ray guns&#8221;) and real vintage photos with a steampunk feel (like Zeppelins floating over cities).<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.austeampunk.blogspot.com\/\">Antipodean Steampunk Adventures<\/A> &#8211; &#8220;Follow the adventures of the maduncle as he endeavours to make contact with the rest of the steampunk universe from the outer colonies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.datamancer.net\/\">Datamancer<\/A> &#8211; Their subhead is &#8220;Prestidigital Datamancery &#038; Paraphrenalic Technofetishism,&#8221; and just try saying that three times fast.  They feature a lot of technical art and gear.<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.steamgearlab.com\/\">Steam Gear Lab<\/A> &#8211; The &#8220;two mad geniuses&#8221; who run the site produce props and makeup effects, but are also purveyors of &#8220;steampunk haberdashery, mad science accoutrements, science guns and wonders of all kinds.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/steampunkbitz.wordpress.com\/\">Steampunk Bitz<\/A> &#8211; A general steampunk blog.<\/p>\n<p>There are at least two LiveJournal communities devoted to steampunk clothing, <A HREF=\"http:\/\/community.livejournal.com\/steamfashion\">Steamfashion<\/A> and <A HREF=\"http:\/\/community.livejournal.com\/steamy_stitches\/\">Steamy Stitches<\/A>.  There&#8217;s also a <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/steampunkfashion\/\">Flickr group<\/A>, and Divine Caroline recently featured a collection of <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.divinecaroline.com\/article\/22254\/53717-beauty-steampunk-fashion\/1\">steampunk clothing<\/A>.<\/p>\n<p>Threadbanger did a <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.threadbanger.com\/tag\/steampunk\">Week of Steampunk<\/A> feature, providing directions for making several accessories.<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/brassgoggles.co.uk\/brassgoggles\/\">Brass Goggles<\/A> &#8211; &#8220;A blog and forum devoted to the lighter side of all things Steampunk.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.steampunkmagazine.com\/\">Steampunk Magazine<\/A> &#8211; A rather nice Webzine.<\/p>\n<p>Writer Richard Morgan (not <I>Broken Angels<\/I> Richard Morgan, some other Richard Morgan) was commissioned by the <I>New York Times<\/I> to write a piece on steampunk culture, which was then cut for reasons unknown.  He&#8217;s posted the article <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.charmandrigor.com\/clips\/self-steampunk.html\">online<\/A>, and it has some lovely ideas for adding steampunk elements to the home.  (Incidentally, the <I>Times<\/I> eventually ran its own <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2008\/05\/08\/fashion\/08PUNK.html?_r=2&#038;oref=slogin&#038;oref=slogin\">piece on steampunk<\/A>, which includes some interesting links.)<\/p>\n<p><A HREF=\"http:\/\/offbeatbride.com\/2007\/12\/a-steampunk-wedding\">Offbeat Bride<\/A> has a feature on a steampunk-themed wedding, complete with clockwork cakes.<\/p>\n<p>Game company Three Rings Design commissioned <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.becausewecan.org\/\">Because We Can<\/A> to convert some open office space into an environment modeled on <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/culture\/design\/multimedia\/2007\/06\/gallery_nemo_office?slide=1&#038;slideView=6\">Captain Nemo&#8217;s Victorian submarine<\/A>.<\/p>\n<p>For those in California, there&#8217;s even a <A HREF=\"http:\/\/www.steampunkconvention.com\/\">Steampunk Convention<\/A>.<\/p>\n<p>:::whew:::  That&#8217;s a lot of steam-powered contraptions for your perusal.
