Sherri, a “food geek” with a “morbid sense of humor” was having a baby, so she designed her baby shower cake to feature the chestburster from Alien. Based on this sentence alone, I believe that Sherri is my new best friend.

The monster was sculpted out of marzipan and garnished with blood-colored syrup. The cake was red velvet, natch.
