Eternal Image, a company which specializes in “the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image funerary products”, has acquired a license to manufacture Star Trek-branded funeral products.
Since most of the other caskets they offer (and let me just say that my dreams will be haunted by the knowledge that there exists a line of Precious Moments caskets) are pretty standard boxes with themed imagery, I’m not holding out as much hope as Sci Fi Scanner that they’d look like photon torpedos. Still, any casket with a “boldly going” theme has possibilities.
