Science Fiction Brewed Fresh Daily

Just in Time for Life Day

The Star Wars marketing department consists of a mob of people whacking at
the grease spot where a horse once was, so it comes as no surprise whatsoever that there are multiple cookbooks related to the franchise.

These two, Wookiee Cookies and Darth Malt, are aimed at juvenile readers and feature dishes like Tusken Raider Taters, Boba Fett-uccine, Princess Leia Danish Dos and Amidala Challah.

The Amazon descriptions hint strongly (and, if I know small children, completely erroneously) that young fans will fall all over themselves to eat Boss Nass Broccoli and Pickle Jar Jar, but the child-friendly cookbooks might at least be enough to encourage kids to learn to cook simple dishes.

If you’ve got small Star Wars fans on your gift list, these are the cookbooks you’re looking for.
